River Road Animal Hospital
So, you live with a cat!
Albert Schweitzer said that ‘there are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats.’ And we agree! A University of Minnesota study found that cat owners are 30% less likely to die from a heart attack. And that’s just the beginning of the benefits to cat ownership! So for all of their benefits to us, the River Road team works hard to keep your cats healthy and happy too.
Our staff emphasizes wholistic care for the cats you entrust to us. What does wholisitc care mean?It means that we consider every part of your pet to achieve and maintain optimum health: thorough preventative care and a nutrition review. We also consider ownership counseling and pet behavior as viable treatment discussions. We utilize both conventional and alternative approaches to medicine (such as supplements, laser, acupuncture, behavior modification, etc.) to create and ensure a well-rounded approach to pet care.
Our recommended baseline care for your adult cats includes:
- Annual Exam, including nutrition and behavior reviews
